Senior Vice President, Global Tax and Treasury

Tom Strobel is senior vice president of Global Tax and Treasury for Ecolab Inc.

 

 

 

Tom Strobel is senior vice president of Global Tax and Treasury for Ecolab Inc., the global leader in water, hygiene and infection prevention solutions and services that protect people and vital resources.

 

In his current role, Strobel leads the tax and treasury functions within Ecolab’s Finance organization. He is a key advisor to the company’s leadership and board of directors on acquisitions, mergers, dispositions and tax strategies that benefit the company and shareholders.

 

Previously, Strobel served as vice president of Finance for Ecolab’s Latin America region. He joined the company in 2016 as assistant treasurer, responsible for cash and debt management, foreign exchange risk management, and auto, property and general liability risk management.

 

Strobel has more than 20 years of finance, treasury, tax, project finance, investing and insurance experience. Prior to joining Ecolab, he held roles with Apache Corporation, ExxonMobil and KPMG. Strobel serves on the board of directors for Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity and Fresh Energy.

 

Strobel graduated from Cornell University with a bachelor’s degree in Business Management and Applied Economics. He earned a master’s degree in Business Administration from the S.C. Johnson Graduate School of Management at Cornell University.
